Plaza Degollado Mexican Grill

This is most certainly my most favorite Mexican restaurant!! Dining at this establishment was truly a joy and pleasure!! We dined here on one of the busiest nights (Cinco de Mayo) but service was very quick!! We had a wait time of about 20 minutes which was perfectly fine! Once we were seated, a server came to our table immediately and helped us with our orders. The food was out in no time! The food was truly out of this world!! Everything was perfectly seasoned with a burst of flavors! I fell in love with every bite! They also give great portions here for a reasonable price! I can't wait to dine here again! The staff was very friendly as well!!

Wow, let me just say this is by far the best Mexican restaurant I have eaten at since coming to Virginia in 2022. & believe me, I've tried a lot of them. This one was so good that we actually went back 2 more times the same week!! Oh my goodness, their fajitas are amazingly good. Beef, chicken, shrimp, lol. You cannot go wrong choosing them. But you may wanna bring a friend because it's a lot of filling for the fajitas My husband loved their shrimp chimichangas. The kids loved the variety in the kids menu & the food was so good! This has become my kids choice for Mexican from now on This cheese dip is great but the salsa/red sauce is a bit too tomato tasting for me. I prefer more salsa taste, some chunks of tomato/onion etc in my sauce when at a Mexican restaurant. But I just ask for a side of pico & I toss it into my boat of cheese dip & I have good queso ;) The nachos are great. So far I have not ordered anything that was not above par. Check them out when in Virhinia Beach at the corner of Greenwich & I-64. It's pronounced "daga-yaw-ho" I absolutely love it & the whole family enjoyed it. Service is above par each visit. Yes, I tipped my server very well for keeping our drinks topped off & always checking on us. I will be going back. I highly recommend it. Just look at these pictures, it looks taste as good as the photos looked. Look at the steamy fajitas. So good y'all. We done lunch one trip & went for dinner the other two, lol. & the process are great. My husband & I ate for under 50 & my whole family of five ate for between 60 & 75 depending on what we ordered. Well worth the prices. Cheaper than Los Palmas & they are great too but this place beats them hands down. On price, variety of selections on the menu & taste.

The food was amazing. The staff was friendly, and very fast! The atmosphere was nice, but a little noisy. Definitely a must try!

Stayed at the Holiday Inn nearby and found this place while looking for food. Read all the great reviews about it and we decided to check it out. Definitely did not regret that decision. Everything was absolutely amazing. The margarita was perfect along with the chicken and beef nachos. If you are anywhere around the area, you should most definitely try this place out.

At first look I was worried. But me and my girlfriend love to give places a try. You just never know how good the food is no matter how it looks from the outside. As we walked in it had a nice feel to it. Very clean and a nice establishment. The food came to our table and we enjoyed it very much. We had a drink and all our drinks were on point. It was at a reasonable price. And the food was very good. We are definitely going to go back again.

Best Nachos I have ever had in my life!!! Drinks are amazing and strong. Servers are super friendly. Please don’t second guess it. Come here. Now.

Great food. Ample portions! Not Taco Bell. standard chips, salsa and queso. We got fresh guac from the cart. I thought the likes added a nice alternative. And I then we over ordered. My wife and I shared a Casa Special, which could probably have fed 3, but we added a shrimp cocktail. Both were tasty. Shrimp were very large. The "cocktail " was just that. Lots of shrimp, citrus, and some avocado and onions with at least 20oz of tomato juice based liquid. Brought some of each home, as we didn't want it to go to waste.

Really good food that's different than most of the others in the area. I love the seafood nachos!
